SADS subsidize scheme for clinical consultation

To support the SCD victim’s family members to see the cardiologist, SADS HK Foundation launches a “SADS subsidize scheme for clinical consultation”
  • Some SADS cases are caused by genes, with a heritability rate of 50%.
  • In 2014, the Heart Rhythm Society, together with the Hong Kong Princess Margaret Hospital and the Department of Health, launched the first medical research on SADS in Hong Kong to identify sudden deaths of unknown cause
  • Even though the medical research is over, we hopes to continue to help the family members who may be related to SADS.
